Your mission at Sistema.bio:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate between the Commercial (Business Development) and Carbon & Impact teams to develop high-quality proposals for carbon projects at Sistema.bio. These proposals can either be for potential buyers or involve the preparation of all necessary documentation for requests for proposals. This role will be supporting the Carbon & Impact - Policy and Strategy Manager to follow up with buyers and partners, maintaining a detailed database of clients and ensuring timely follow up.
You’ll be in charge of:
- Create proposal documents (Project Idea Notes) for new target countries and planned projects.
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met, for Requests for Proposals (RfPs), with very specific submission dates.
- Manage data inputs from different teams, including Commercial (Business Development), Carbon & Impact, and respective local teams.
- Collaborate with the MarComms team to develop and update the project idea note template, ensuring proposals are structured in a standardised manner.
- Provide support to the Carbon & Impact team in structuring investment proposals for Carbon projects.
More about YOU:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in proposal development.
- Understanding of relevant environmental regulations and policies related to carbon emissions, offsets, and renewable energy.
- Knowledge of carbon credit markets, including pricing dynamics, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements for carbon credit sales.• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data analysis, financial modelling, and performance tracking of carbon offset projects.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in leading and coordinating across various business units to produce high-quality, client-facing proposals.
- Strong writing skills in English.
- Desire to positively impact the environment and have an affinity for agriculture
